Cryptocoryne beckettii originated in Sri Lanka and has often been found growing above and below water. When submerged the leaves are different varieties of greens and browns however different colouration within the same plant is common. Ideal for beginners as this plant is so easy to keep and grow.

Understanding Crypt melt - all Cryptocoryne species require stable water parameter and light conditions. Once planted, Crypts should not be moved otherwise it can trigger what is called Crypt melt.
