Egeria najas - 2 Bunches

Fast-growing freshwater plant with bright green, closely packed leaves arranged along a sturdy stem. Egeria densa is often used in starter aquariums as it absorbs excess nutrients and helps limit algae growth. It can be planted or left floating and grows well under low to moderate lighting.

This is a hardy, beginner-friendly plant that does not require CO₂ and tolerates a wide temperature range, typically from around 18–28°C. With stronger light and nutrients it will grow more quickly and may need regular trimming.

Bunches usually arrive with around 4–5 loose stems and may contain hitchhiking snails. As with many commercially grown plants, we recommend quarantining for around 7 days with regular water changes before adding to aquariums containing shrimp or other invertebrates.
