Helanthium tenellum ‘Green’ is a fine-leaved foreground plant that forms a low, grass-like carpet with a natural meadow appearance. Its fresh green colour and narrow leaves make it a popular choice for creating open, planted foregrounds without the ultra-tight look of more demanding carpets.

Plant in small portions across the substrate and allow space for runners to spread. With moderate to strong lighting it will stay compact and spread steadily, while added CO₂ will significantly improve speed and density. It is more forgiving than many carpeting plants and adapts well to a wide range of planted aquariums, making it a solid option for both beginners and experienced aquascapers.
